Adam, the Grizzly Bear, and Bob, the Bobcat have been our stars so far on the tour! The baby wolf pups, Tundra and Kamchecka are doing great, they are growing fast and love to howl their brains out! The baby red fox are doing good too, so pretty, their red coats are so bright. We also have baby porcupine, Rusty Roo who is also doing great, she is so big and eats so much! Beleive it or not, her favorite food is bread! She'll pass up the carrots and apples for a piece of bread! We also have two baby skunks! Little stinkers!

Happy New Year!

January 10.2009

We're now 10 days into the New Year and it's shaping up to be a great year. Right now we've received about 5 inches of snow, but expect (and hope for) allot more! The more snow the better, especially for photographers looking to capture the best winter shots. The animals also enjoy the snowfall, they seem to have completely different personalities during the winter months!

Our little Mountain Lion ~ Bapu is 3 months old TODAY! He's growing fast, and loves attention. At night he sleeps in his pet taxi and I let him out first thing each morning; it's funny because he's not worried about anything when I let him out - eating, going to the bathroom, nothing - he just wants to be held! If I don't, he'll follow me all over the house until I DO hold him! He loves our dogs too, he'll bite on their ears and tails, and the dogs just lie there and take it!

We take pride in the bond we have with each of our animals. As we've done with Bapu ~ We hand raise each of our babies from young ~ allowing them to grow and form their own personalities, but yet hold a close relationship with each of our trainers. Our animals do not live within their cages 24/7 but they are out doing what they enjoy ~ climbing trees, causing a ruckus in the water, parading through snowy meadows ~ all taking place right in front of your camera!

©2004 - 2009 Animals of Montana, Inc.

Graphics, images, and content on all existing pages on this server are not to be taken or reproduced without permission.
